Shauna Heavner, Outpatient Therapist

Shauna has been part of the Success Coach Team on-and-off since its creation. She moved away in 2014 and returned to Catawba County in 2023 with the specific intention of rejoining the team. Shauna has held a variety of roles within social work and enjoys the diversity of her clients. As an Outpatient Therapist, Shauna provides therapeutic services to families that have experienced a disruption in care, either by foster or adoption. She can provide therapy for families who are enrolled in Success Coach Service, who find it difficult to meet the requirements of traditional in-office therapy. She is honored to be welcomed into their homes and lives and learn about their unique characteristics, while bearing witness to families on their journeys of change. In her free time, Shauna enjoys gardening, collecting rocks from her travels, remodeling old homes, and spending time with her three dogs.
